It might be possible with 3rd Party drivers check VoodooFiles. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment. P4M, loking that up, that’s an Intel P4 chipset. However I think a lot of problems still exist with most of the S3 drivers. I have no idea why VIA chose that particular numbering. Didn’t work, but nice to update the driver.

That’s what I wish I could redo. Savage was a product-line of PC graphics chipsets designed by S3.

Sometimes an older version may not be as buggy as something that is newer though most driver updates are actually geared towards fixing bugs rather than improving performance. I don’t know if you’ll be able to find a better driver. It’ll work with less, but won’t look as good.
It causes missing textures, errors in geometry and models, and minimal performance benefits. The chipset for the AMD is not what I have coming up.
It states that the chipset is a KM VT I wouldn’t say that your upgrade has been useless, but built-in video typically has all sorts of performance compromises or driver quality issues.

I got this to get ready for CMBB thanks again. Are there known issues with this thing? S3 engineers claimed that the S3TL engine had feature parity with GeForceand that it could render 2. This package supports the following driver models: Most of the code base is probably very similar between these two chips and they would most likely have the same graphic problems. I am happily going along again in my games.
Are you saying that it is now all of a sudden slower or are you talking about something else?

I have no idea why VIA chose that particular numbering. In here you can adjust the aperture size which is probably fine at Mb. The ‘S3 P4M’ is the correct video chip designation for your setup. I don’t know what the real HW is. The latest one 3s can find is dated August 16, though that may not be the actual release date.

It would clearly be faster, even in 2D, than my Voodoo3 right? I do have version Advertisements or commercial links. I think when I installed XP, I had a choice of 3 kinds of cards that all looked the same.
