Is it possible to execute queries such as the above with an adodb connection, across different databases? Sign in to vote. This becomes and issue when I am trying to manipulate some dates. It is better to query using the integer value of the dates and have a function to convert a Clarion Date to an Access date. Thanks JShankar, I had a feeling this was the case.

Turns out I can import okay when I create a user dsn that specifies the topspeed file. Thanks, I will try to look into that when I return to work on Monday.

I have tried different variations trying to get the date but softvlocity go.
However, if I create a user dsn using the odbc administrative tool and leave the the database field blank, it softvelocity topspeed odbc not work.

I have looked at the Scalar Functions for Access. Here is another site with a bit more info ODBC. The content you requested has been removed. For awhile there I could not figure out why you had one double-quote in the toppspeed of your query. Thanks Guys, I’m passing this info to my boss in hopes that he doesn’t sink a lot of money into topspeed. I can select specific other fields but always fails on Date.

It’s easy to join and it’s free. There are a lot better development softvelocity topspeed odbc and platforms available. The Topspeed ODBC has a problem with dates especially if sooftvelocity have set up the softvelocity topspeed odbc source to identify date fields.
